SMB Trust is a non-profit organization founded by Mr. Shyamprasad, the founder and chairman of Vidya Herbs Pvt Ltd. In loving memory of his parents, late Mrs. and Mr. Saraswathi and K. Mahalinga Bhat, the SMB Trust focuses on corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities aimed at giving back to society.

Guided by this vision, SMB Trust serves as the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Vidya Herbs Pvt. Ltd., dedicated to uplifting communities and creating sustainable social impact. We strongly believe that responsible business practices not only benefit society but also fuel long-term growth, harmony, and goodwill for the company and its people.

Our Focus Areas

SMB Trust has initiated and supported numerous projects aimed at improving lives, empowering individuals, and fostering inclusive growth. Our activities span across healthcare, education, community development, and welfare support, including:

• Free Hospitals & Healthcare – Offering accessible medical care and supporting treatments for underprivileged patients, including cancer care assistance.

• Free Education Support – Providing financial assistance, free uniforms, and free computers to schools and students in need.

• Village Development – Setting up borewells to provide safe drinking water to rural communities.

• Food Security Initiatives – Distributing rice donations to schools and supporting nutrition programs for children.

• Support for Samsthanas & Institutions – Extending assistance to hospitals, religious and cultural institutions that work for the welfare of society.
